In conclusion, L. acidophilus L177 demonstrated excellent safety profiles and probiotic potential based on in vivo toxicity studies and whole-genome analysis. Future studies should explore the strain’s efficacy in clinical settings, focusing on its probiotic effects, such as gut health modulation and immune support. Additionally, long-term safety assessments and mechanistic studies on probiotic action will further validate the utility of L. acidophilus L177 as a safe and effective probiotic.
